Roses Posy

I love making this hand carved ring, with two facing roses, roots entwined, and the simple, but powerful words, Come Live with Me & Be My Love. The first line of The Passionate Shepherd by Christopher Marlowe, published in 1599, inspiring countless songs, and love stories, with it's timeless beauty. Each size is carved individually, starting with an outline, using a modified sewing needle, to get the most delicate line drawing possible, before digging in with more substantial tools, to create depth, and pleasant organic lines. When I carve these, I try to balance everything, keeping a bit of asymmetry. Drawing was my first passion- these are one of my favorite pieces to make. - Robin 

Please allow slight variations on your Roses Posy, as each size is carved, individually. We have a 3mm width, and a 5mm width, available. Thickness varies from 1.8 - 2.3mm. Choose between 3mm, or 5mm, in our drop down menu.
